I would hope so, it's probably going to ruin his career.

trappedintime 02/16/09 08:54 AM

Asshole.

muzikool 02/16/09 09:08 AM

For those of you bashing Chris you should be ashamed but I guess I can't blame you for what the media has done since you were born. Use your heads people! Have you ever gone off on someone only to find out that the things you heard were all lies? Read this story and then tell me if you would still like to condemn before you know all the facts.---->http://www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dw...5501d14.ht ml
Is ignorance best or just a sure sign of punksters who are moral-less?

I come from an abusive home, and I can tell you that when this shit happens its not unprovoked. I never just woke up to a family member screaming "bitch you stole my cupcake" and smaking me around. It was always because I did something. The only time my dad laid hands on me or my sibilings for no reason was when he was high. So either there were drugs involved or she pushed him to the limit.

He doesnt seem like someone who just beats people for no good reason.

this makes no sense

Please, shut the fuck up, "Love in Trouble"? More like dysfunctional and inexcusable. He's a monster, not a little kid that spilled juice on the floor or something. Domestic violence should not be treated so lightly by the media. People are hurt by it every single day of their lives, yet people only pay attention to this because it's two famous people. If this were a deadbeat dude living in a trailer park, or some husband in a home in suburbia, nobody would hear about it. Instead of a thirty minute or hour program just gabbing about how Chris Brown made a "mistake", they should be creating something that will possibly help prevent other "mistakes" from happening in the future. It's sad that social responsibility goes out the window when your only concern is ratings. They should be using the popularity of this issue to educate kids about domestic violence, and maybe highlight some solutions that people can act upon in order to prevent domestic violence in their own lives.

Does condemning people help you sleep at night? Did you know that the media never lies to us? They don't get paid millions of dollars in advertising to put commercials in between the crap they broadcast For everyone to see and believe me lies sell to the negative brain of man.
Not everything is black and white, Man is good at heart and if he acts badly it is most likely because he has been mislead and/or mistreated.

Wow! what an intelligent thing to say, I am impressed. I didn't think anyone would use so many words to describe how they felt.

Yeah she did, but I hope that down the road they do not reconcile their relationship. Because it happens, even after months or years go by. People out of an abusive relationship are sometimes the most likely to go back to a failed relationship because they do experience some guilt when they really should not.

I am really curious, why do so many people who contribute to this site seem to loathe Chris Brown? Why is Chris Brown a "douche", "dumb-ass", "woman-beater", "piece of shit" young man who doesn't deserve forgiveness? Do you guys dislike his music, appearance, what type of food he eats? Do you not like him because the media is putting a spin on a story that we all really don't know that much about?

He beat up a woman (which in and of itself is inexcusable), and then gave a half-assed publicist written apology. He's just a scumbag.

He does dance well though.

First of all I don't really understand your comment (bizarre wording)... but I don't think what I said was unfounded. I think that the media DOES have an obligation to social responsibility, money maker or not. BOTH sexes can and do use violence unprovoked, and I've been witness to it. It is black and white to me. Get hurt, you leave. End of story. I would never even think of staying or getting back with someone like that, even if he seeks god and becomes a "changed man". There is no excuse for someone to be beat. The physical pain goes away, but the mental scar it leaves is irrevocable and lasts a lifetime.
