Fuse has posted a 40 minute video compiling all the highlights (performance, Flea's induction speech, band acceptance speech, etc.) from Metallica's recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. The ceremony will be aired again this Saturday, April 11th at 5PM EST; more exclusive footage from the event can be viewed here.

is it me or was something off on the performance?

good cuz my dvr cut off during Lars' snooze fest of a speech. Flea's was awesome, but James & Kirk looked bored after while. Lars was loving the praise & compliments though

too much bass?

That's awesome that Clif's dad got to speak at the event. What a great moment.

Sweet! I was pissed I couldn't check this out...

There were a number of awkward things about the performance:

1.) 2 basses that were sometimes out of sync
2.) The whole band got out of sync a few times (end of Kirk's solo on Puppets)
3.) James' voice cracking
4.) They're all wearing dress clothes.
5.) Uh, 10 guitarists for the finale? Talk about Rock n Roll excess...
