As much as I love them, I don't think Maiden has much left in the tank creatively. Their past few albums have too many songs with the same structure and chord progressions, which makes me...

Acceptance had the best set of the weekend, at least in my book. Also, I was lucky enough to interview Jason and Ryan on behalf of Pop-Break.com (http://www.pop-break.com/) and they were excellent...

Talked to Ryan and Jason at Skate and Surf yesterday, great dudes, and apparently there's plenty more where this came from. It's not Phantoms leftovers, either, but all-new stuff.

Awesome band is awesome. They played a free show at Lincoln Center a few weeks back and it was fantastic. Really humble, talented people.

Was this really necessary?

Amusingly enough, I've found I can't entirely get into the Act releases...

They're not bad, but the songwriting doesn't stand out for me as much as on The Color Spectrum and Migrant. Different...

It's got to be "The Night Josh Tillman Came to Our Apt" for me. The lyrics are just brutal.
