I don't think I would've made the connection myself, but this nails it. This sounds like the angsty nonsense when I was starting high school.

Yeah, it's not too bad. He makes a couple faces that sell some jokes but, as always, enough of the chuckles can be had with just the sound.

This is so true. The B-Side, Son of the Iron Sheep, is just one of the most beautiful songs ever. I freaking love these guys, don't understand the criticisms at all. They're one of the most unique...

I believe all of this. Although I've never heard of this guy before right now, just listening to his song 'Aware' (who he somehow still got the beautiful Hattie Wilson be a part of), he's about...

Are you just looking to be a dick? Is that why you have 22,000 or whatever posts? Christ, I thought you were 22. Or maybe I'm giving 22 year olds more credit than they deserve.

So is the music on your bandcamp. Not everything is for everyone. This album (and band) is pretty great, glad they're getting a little bit of exposure.

It always seems like the old first-album-is-the-best adage here. I don't ever subscribe to it, but most people think FWN was a watered down WPSIATWIN and Humbug was too slow and groovy. I don't know....

Bird In My Window by Roadkill Ghost Choir is my new sad song. Pretty much sums up the biggest (possibly best) relationship of my life that ended last year.

Everyone gives me shit but this is my favorite record of theirs. It's a beautiful middle of their earlier and latter sound.

Glad to see Petty on the list, he's my absolute favorite. While it's not his strongest album, it was his first number one and he deserved some recognition for it. But then I saw Skrillex was 2 or 3...

Tom Petty is my favorite (and my avatar) so I like seeing his name used (though I'm not in the position to listen to the song so I'm not sure how much relevance he has). Come to Louisville.

I grew up listening to these guys and loved them. But their new music has hit a new chord with me, so to speak. A Song for a Son is an incredible song.

Such sincere sounding music. It's absolutely beautiful. I wish I had more bands like this, too.

Edit: Karen O's Where the Wild Things Are soundtrack. That's pretty damn similar and amazing.
