This album is so gorgeous. An intense listen, and all the DJ qualities I keep reading about in other reviews are apparent and really strike me, somehow. "Bros" really does seem to be it's peak, but...

This album is all over the map stylistically, trying to cull resources from so many different bands...and somehow, it works. And it doesn't get boring. A fun album, if nothing else.

These guys are...

Well, I don't think you can really fit their show in the category of the others.
I think all those bands have brilliant live sets...they all work in their own way...and the three of them together was...

I'd defend any of those songs, if the sentimental value is worth it.

Best movie I've seen so far this year.
Hilarious, intense, and just all around goodness.

There's a good little vignette about snuff films in the novel Less Than Zero by Bret Easton Ellis.

It almost made me vomit, the first time I read it.

They are brilliant.
I also saw them open for Brand New this summer.
Their lead singer seems to have the explosive, on-edge energy of Ian Curtis, where their sound just kicked my ass.

They should...

Thanks for another review that doesn't tell me a damned thing.
On the plus side: props for the Bemis mention.
Too bad it only distracted me, and added nothing to the review.

The energy with which they played the new songs on their last tour...
...I have a hunch that the new album could blow even Deja out of the water.

I get chills just thinking about it.
Shaking with...

I think their new album is their most brilliant work to date.
Such an original sound, even though you can def. hear the Cursive and dark-Western influences.

Funny thing is, their celloist's...

I keep seeing this CD in the used rack of my local record store.
Thanks for the review...now I know what they're all about.
