I was curious about this too. Mixing doesn't take that long. I find it odd that they're going to sit on it for 6+ months.

So good! Also, I thought of a couple more that Counterparts lead me into checking out. Capsize, Hundredth and It Prevails.

Which I'm SO surprised about. If you look at comments in this thread or any other forum, their Facebook page, etc. it's nothing but hate for Tomorrow We Die Alive.

I personally am one of few who...

Misery Signals, Worthwhile, even Shai Hulud I didn't hear of before Counterparts. I'm from Eastern Canada, so Counterparts toured everywhere in Canada since their first album.

Counterparts made me fall in love with hardcore. They began my hardcore binge of looking for any bands similar to them.

Yeah, LINAWR is excellent!! It just doesn't really progress much from Still Searching and it's not quite as good so I think a lot of people don't give it as much of a chance as their other albums.

Forget what I said about Northlane's drums. The drums sound a little bigger, but now that I have the CD in my car, it's still similar to Tragedy Will Find Us.

Really hard and I'm probably in the minority. This is from my fave to least favourite.

Ursa Major
Out of the Vein
Self Titled
Dopamine - Only listened once through, but first impressions I...

I'm going to guess right now and say that 2 and 4 are interludes and the 3 main tracks are 12 minutes. Really excited for this album!

Other than Loma Prieta, what's the best active skramz band going? I'm a big fan of State Faults.

Hahaha it might be hard to make out the music well on the recordings too. I'm interested to hear your thoughts when you do listen.

There are many, many hardcore albums over a half an hour. Just saying. It's not like it's a written rule to be short.

I haven't listened in my car yet, but I thought the drums sounded thin from the stream. Counterparts and Northlane both come out today and they're both produced by Will Putney, only, the drums sound...

Don't like the title of it, but it's an okay song. Also, the band replies to almost everyone that comments on their videos. I thought that was pretty cool! Very close to their fans.

Me too! It's sad to see they have so many good bands, yet it seems like their music isn't selling much.

Love Shai Hulud! I actually hope Chad Gilbert is still on this one. It sounds kind of like him...

Shai Hulud?? Good for them!! I love No Sleep. Their $5 CD sale online is pretty sweet. I just bought Departures - Teenage Haze. Can't wait for a new record from them, Shai Hulud and State Faults!!!

I wish there were less clean vocals and I never thought I would say that. I definitely prefer Adrian. Their last album was so well thought out and this one seems a little more simple to me. I'll have...

I was really hoping they would find him hiding somewhere alive. Very sad news. Poor guy felt like the world was out to get him. It's so unbelievable to see this over the past few weeks.
