I quite liked the fact that they shed the low-fi aura from Transference this time around. They Want My Soul has songs that could explode when played live.

Back when the album was announced, I felt...

Am I the only one who heard a lot of Marianas Trench throughout the album? Especially when his voice grows and reaches the higher octave. And a few melodies as well.

Fantastic album, in my opinion....

Sure, I know what you mean. It's just the expectation people put on him, especially those who've lived through tough times with his previous albums. It feels bad but I can't help it. If I put myself...

For me, Where the Light Is > Heavier Things > Continuum > Room for Squares > Battle Studies > Paradise Valley.

It worries me that this is the kind of music JM actually wants to make. He isn't...

The main line reminds me so much of "We talk too much, we talk in circles".

If he keeps writing songs like these, I might come to terms with the fact Thrice is no more.

Sweeter is the only song that I really liked. Resembles Mad Langer's Fact/Fiction.

This weirdly reminds me of the Dirty Work debacle. Here's hoping that Relient K can back it up with a good album like ATL did.

Release Boomerang as the next single with a big video and all that, see...

I thought that I had outgrown this band, but this is quite phenomenal. Sonically, Collider is WAY ahead of the s/t, Cycles as well as Chroma.

I wanted a Pneuma2 when Waves came out and I want a Waves2 now, but that doesn't matter because they'll blow me away with whatever they make anyway.

I think the band let the news out a little earlier than they would have liked. The Butch Walker tweet sorta indicated that the album isn't completed yet.

Pretty solid album. Noticed how they've gone away from "hey, let's toss in an acoustic song/ballad half-way down the album to mix things up" attitude and gone for an all-out pop-punk sound? As much...

Love, love Sugar and Calm My Soul. The first few listens might put you off a little, the album grows on you. Here's my review. http://spydistrict.com/2012/09/the-peace-of-wild-things-by-paper-route/

What sucks the most is that it has come to comparing this song to Dirty Work, when things seemed to be on the way up for ATL post-Nothing Personal. Great bunch of guys, really hope that this record...

Well, the beginning of the chorus sounds a little like the tune that Josh Ramsey sings repeatedly in this song. iTYTcOdDR9w

Fantastic review. Here's hoping that the americana, folkish vibe won't hold people back from checking this out.

This is the album that would have been the appropriate follow-up after Continuum....

Firstly, I suggest that you brush off any preconceived notions before you start listening to Born And Raised. For me, this album is fantastic. It's like the country version of Continuum with traces...
