Definitely don't hate it, but it's a standout lowpoint on that record for me.

My top three from debut (this is harder than I realised): "Robbers", "Girls", "Menswear"="Pressure"="Settle Down"="Heart...

Haha yeah that's cool, but as we've said before, there's not another song on here that sounds like "UGH!" or any of the singles really bar "She's American" maybe. Will be interesting to find out,...

Definitely wonder what you'll think of this album. A lot tells me you may not like it, bar some tracks. But any thing I ever think seems to be the opposite of your views and tastes on music almost,...

The last verse and outro to "M.O.N.E.Y." I absolutely adore. I get why people don't like the song generally though, but share the "Talk!" sentiments of it being a dud on the debut.

The title track is largely instrumental.

Whilst there aren't "interludes", there are instrumental/largely instrumental tracks occurring on this.

Interesting! One of my favourites is one of your least and vice versa. I knew that'd be the case, the beauty of this band and an album this extensive/expansive is that we're gonna get so many views...

Not to mention sell out shows to 30,000 people in London alone in one month from now, as another example.

a) First point is just not true, totally cool to not like their music but to say that there is no hype for this album outside of this website is absurd in how false it is. They are plastered all over...

Definitely interesting, that's great! Do you have a less standout point at all as yet? I don't mean to highlight the negatives but it's just such a dense and great album that it's the more logical...

Yeah I thought that was the case. Jamie's hinting generally means that something is occurring though haha. He's such a tease to fans.

Just to chime in with some thoughts and agree with Jason: I mean over here, they've already been offered the arena shows. I remember on the first album cycle they opened for Muse at Wembley (stadium,...

"How Soon Is Now?" shouldn't really be on Meat Is Murder, it was thrown on there for an American re-release in the 90s and then taken off again later.

Matt Healy, singer in The 1975, is a proper rockstar. He looks ridiculous, says funny stuff and is convinced the world “needs” all 75 mins of his band’s new album. Dan Stubbs...

Clear, the pink transparent version didn't happen due to some manufacturing issues I believe.

True but the magazine also shunned them, and made fun of them, weren't favourable etc. which is only going to influence the readers over the years.

One of my favourite parts on the whole album which is SO small in the grand scheme of things, to namecheck for when people can hear to see if they know what I mean: the "i know" on the second verse...
