FYS and ADTR have me very interested in the album. And the August Burns Red cover is pretty funny/awesome. Alesana, however, has failed to build my anticipation for any of the other bands...

Seeing Alan from FYS list a Bon Iver song as one of his current favorites makes me smile.

Minor differences aside (keys, melodies, 3 sylable breakdown intros), most songs follow an identical formula and sound virtually the same. But man is it catchy and it sounds like freaking armageddon...

Four Year Strong for me. I love SYG, but Four Year Strong just takes it. I've seen them both live and FYS is, only slightly, but a hair about SYG in the live department. And beyond that, SYG never...

I'm pretty.excited. Their last album was actually good, unlike the first one. If they keep moving the direction they've been going in, maybe drifting a little bit away from just being Beatles clones,...

FYS and SYG put on 2 of the best live shows ive seen. To those calling them posers...are you just looking for things to say to sound cool? Both bands are terribly fun and full of awesome, genuine...

Ways to make that album better: Replace all 9 non four year strong songs with the rest of Rise or Die Trying.

The most enjoyable pop-punk band out there. Breakdowns that rival some metal-core in heaviness too.

The clips from the new songs sound awesome. A return to pre-fame REM? We can only hope.

Devil and God for the sheer force of songwriting power, dynamics, and a more mature sound. You didn't really expect them to write another 4-chord pop-punk album, did you?

I was there when they announced this, needless to say, i was terrified...but they were all on good terms and seemed to be having a lot of fun. Maybe he'll be back one day.
