Not the biggest fan of Cope. It's easily my least favorite of theirs, although I'll agree that the songs are pretty great on their own.

Anyways, I saw them play the headlining stage at Shaky Knees,...

Seeing all the posts in here has me *really* disappointed that he's not playing Atlanta or in Tennessee. The Age of Adz show really was the best show I've ever seen, I think, so it's a shame that I...

SS is probably in my top 10 albums of all time. Total masterpiece, in my opinion.

I'm gonna have to listen to it tomorrow. It's been a while.

Andy Hull is producing their new one, based on an interview that was posted yesterday or so. Interested to see how that turns out. (This is news, right? I hadn't even heard confirmation they were...

Yeah, the live album is incredible. I'm not too bothered by the repeating songs (I think there's only like six?), considering the whole collection is 42 songs.

Listening to these guys for the first time and really liking it. They're playing a free show here in town a few weeks from now; I'll definitely be there.

The vocals at the very beginning of this...

Yeah, all I've seen is various teases on Instagram and the release of "Tide Teeth." No real word on release.

Anyways, I've listened to the new one at least a good bit. Still can't really...

Man, very few vocalists can affect me as much as Frances. The music backing her is great, of course, and a nice step forward from Get Disowned, but her voice is really just incredible.

Ha, the opposite actually happened to me. I started with There's Nothing Wrong With Love, because I heard a recording of Jesse Lacey covering "Car" and I loved it; nothing on the actual album grabbed...

Yeah, I'd start with Keep It Like A Secret and then you can go backwards or forwards from there. It's all great, but Keep It Like A Secret is, in my opinion, the best starting place.

They played three or four new songs when I saw them last month. They were all awesome. Much more electronic-based than Odd Soul was.

Picked up Steve Reich (very excited about this), Built to Spill, and Typhoon. Sad but not surprised that I wasn't able to get The Hold Steady or Neko Case. I'll still be keeping an eye out for both.

Yeah, I actually had more success at McKays last year than at For The Record, which is why I'm going there first. (It's also just closer to where I live than Northgate is.) I'll update you if I find...
