I can't wait to see it. This album is obviously the definition of divisive.

That bass groove near the end of "Rum" is so fucking delicious. Say what you will about the production, the bass and drums sound killer throughout.

Hey, what's this? An appreciation thread for my absolute favorite band?

I can get down with this.

I saw them with Blood Brothers, Dredg, and Coheed and I saw another show with Touche Amore and Seahaven. mwY get some good tours.

I also saw them last time they toured with Say Anything. Piebald...

17 Coked Up Speeding, Rum, Wire Mom, and Varicose Visage are my early favorites.

I'm digging the album quite a bit.

Just curious, as a huge Thursday fan - what were the incidents concerning War All The Time? I was listening to them then, but I don't recall anything happening specifically.

I'm 4 listens in, and I love it. I also loved Hebrews though. This site seems really down on these two albums though. Weird.

This site's commenters also seem to dislike Max now. When did that...

Check out Self-Entitled. Of the albums you've missed, that's the best in my opinion. War on Errorism was real cool too.

Maybe I'm remembering old posts. Maybe I'm mixing you up with other AP staffers. Either way, I'm sorry I even said anything.

I shouldn't come into your place and throw shit accusations around.

Maybe I see a combo of all of them combined then. I'm not frequent enough on here anymore, so I could definitely mix up some names.

Either way, I feel like an ass for calling him out on anything....

I'm sorry, man. I'm not mad that you don't like the album - it's a weird album, for sure. People will be divided on this one until the end of time. And besides, other people's opinions don't bother...

I hate to talk shit, but he kinda rubs me the wrong way too. I've been here for longer than 10 years myself, and I usually like the whole staff. :/

I'm surprised that I'm so alone in my opinion that Imbue >>>>>> In Currents.

I loved both albums, but Imbue still blows me away every time I listen to it.

What the fuck is going on in these comments?!

This is exciting tour news about 2 great bands hitting the road together, and everyone is pissing and moaning about it.

I saw the mwY / Say Anything...

Jeez! I use my phone for everything, and I average around 2GB a month. I save music and podcasts for offline play, and I use wifi whenever possible.

I do miss having unlimited data though. :(

Listen to all of them. Beatles started out more standard pop/50's Rock and roll style, before they evolved a bunch of times.

Every step of their evolution is so worth getting into.

Is this confirmed? I went to the Say Anything / mwY/ Piebald tour back in '06, and I would love to relive that night. :)

I know one of these. The Struts.

They've been getting a LOT of play on Philly radio stations since the summer. They even did an in-studio performance on a morning show. It was awesome.
