Wow, what a song. Their discography had been pretty hit or miss for me up until The King is Dead, which I absolutely loved. Super excited for this one.

I believe he just means that it employs a similar musical theme, in that both albums have songs that are long and supplemented through various orchestral movements. Similar fashions, but not...

As someone who has never listened to The Early November or any of Ace Enders' stuff:

Oh God. What have I been missing out on?

It's nice to see some color on a cover of theirs for once. Looks vibrant.

I totally agree. I love this album a lot but I do still find myself pining for their old dynamic.

That's so awesome. And it's so seamlessly done too. Really impressive.

The only qualm I have about this is that the vocal melodies seem sort of aimless at times, and the composition is nowhere near as dynamic as their previous releases. What drew me in from The Man With...

I found the juxtaposition of the minimal instrumentation and the screaming vocals a rather clever touch. I liked it.

I wouldn't consider myself a huge Say Anything fan, but I've loved every song...

Wish they would've gone just a little bit more in-depth on what everything means in terms of symbolism and whatnot. But this was still pretty informative.

It's sad that Arrow isn't actually a part of the movie universe. I wonder if Steven Amell could hold his own on the big screen alongside Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.

Barbarossa - Oslo EP

8.5/10

I always tried to distanced myself from news that would muddle the band's name for me (Or any band I like, for that matter), but alas, the internet is a thing, so that can't really be avoided....

I started listening to this band because I knew that the singer was married to Max Bemis.

And it turns out, now I like them more than Say Anything!

Pretty much agree with this review. Awesome album.

The title reminds me of that episode of Portlandia with the music festival.

Fantastic album. Every song is amazing. Soupy's vocals are as raw and honest as ever, and each song painstakingly real and honest. Though for some reason, "I Won't Say The Lord's Prayer" slightly...
