One of the more unique exclusives I've ever set up came back in October, when we offered a free download of a cover of Blink-182's "Up All Night" by a YouTube user named KeezyKabeezy. For those who don't remember, KeezyKabeezy – whose real name is Kyle – recorded all the instruments and vocals to "Up All Night" by himself in an amateur home studio, playing the song as if Blink had written it for Enema of the State rather than Neighborhoods. I've stayed in touch with Kyle since then and as it turns out, he's finally getting around to recording some of his own original songs. What we have today is an exclusive stream of one of his first completed songs, titled "Power Lines." Once again, Kyle wrote and recorded everything on his own, and there will be a YouTube video to accompany the song coming some time next week. The song, for lack of a longer description, is simply good – fans of Blink-182 will find that Kyle's voice resembles Mark Hoppus' to a pretty great extent, and the song's upbeat, fun nature makes it an easily accessible listen. There is some impressive guitar work as well in the bridge. Now hurry up and head to his AP.net Profile or the replies to just stream the track already.
