Last week we tried out a new Friday featurette called "posts of the week" (for those that missed it - it's exactly what it sounds like) - and everyone seemed to really like it. So, this week we are bringing it back. This week was full of funny posts, down right insane posts, and some shit I couldn't even follow. Just like last week - I had staff help me compile the posts we found to be worthy of inclusion. We also had a post that got nominated for "worst post of the week" - and we included that in here as well. Next week we'll do our best to keep track of those too. Oh, and hopefully make better note of all the brilliant comments made in the forums as well (not sure if I can handle a journey into PL though). If you click on the little arrow thingy next to the username, you'll be able to go see the post in the thread it originated in ... context, sometimes, helps.
It wouldn't be wise to make enemies with the AP.net community. What we do have are a very particular set of skills; skills we have acquired over a very long time spent with Photoshop. Just ask Forever The Sickest Kids or The Maine...
We need more photoshop threads. Those were amazing. Ducks?
It was cool until AP.net users started coming into my chat room and posting my real name. I know they came from hecause they all said they were Jason tate. Didn't stop me, though. It's one thing to hate me for whatever reason, but I found that whole ordeal a little offensive. This thread is just an example of how society expects women to suppress their sexuality if they don't look like 80s jennifer Cnley or something.
Wait wait wait ... people are joining nudey video-cam chat rooms and claiming to be me?! Is this real life? I just know my parents are super happy that their son created a website in their basement that would one day make his name known enough to be impersonated in XXX-video chat rooms. Well, that was certainly my dream.
Say what you want about Attack Attack, but it's what people want to hear. I bet it will sell more copies or have more downloads than any of the AP Albums of the Year. Bon Iver and Fireworks may have made records that appealed to music snobs, but most people don't give a shit about lyrics. Listen to any song on the radio, or even listen to dubstep. No lyrics, all sampling, and people go nuts for it.
Yeahhhhhhhhhh.... no one bought that Bon Iver album at all.
