Drive and Trent Reznor got snubbed hard

Should be Drive and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo instead of Extremely Close and War Horse. Even though I didn't like Tree of Life, I get why some people do. Also, both Reznor and Fincher should at least have been nominated.

I haven't seen everything nominated but does this year's nominations seem lacking to anyone else? I mean, I don't think a lot of those films nominated as Best Picture are going down as classics in the future, but I could be wrong. There's just nothing that really sticks out to me at all in any category.

Glad to see Moneyball get lots of Oscar love. Both Pitt and Hill were fantastic in that movie.

Also GJ Pixar at not even getting a animated film nomination for Cars 2. Maybe next time you'll learn not to try and write a sequal to your worst movie. Really hope they return to form with Brave.

The trailer for Brave looks way more like a Dreamworks movie then a Pixar movie tho... I'm ready to be disappointed.

not the best year for movies. maybe i just felt like last Oscar season was stacked while this one was just kinda meh.

Yeah, not the best years for movies but it happens. This year is going to be much much better. I'm actually very surprised at the best pictures here.

No drive. No 5050. No Dragon Tattoo. Wow.

I hope The Descentents wins. Fucking great movie.
