What advice do you have for someone that is trying to start a 501(c)(3) on teen/ young adult suicide prevention and early intervention?

My friend Pat is trying to start a U chapter of TWLOHA's at our college. We would be the first college in Maryland if we get the support, and a community college at that. He will probably be at the summit they hold to discuss that.
