Jamie,
Hi, um. I'm Rebecca. :) a few weeks ago, in January. I was on twitter and it was some hashtag like #10thingsaboutme and I tweeted one about Jamie and TWLOHA and said they saved my life. Jamie, I'm pretty sure you don't remember but you DM'd me and said: glad you're alive : ).
You have no clue how much that meant to me! I just want to say thanks! :)
hmm..im not quite sure what my question is :/ trying to come across a revelation, it seems like im really close but i cant take the final step to realize what i need to. i honestly, dont look into TWLOHA a lot, and i just came across you recently, due to my girlfriend. But i read a blog today and a paragraph in it caught my mind. it was actually by jamie, the one about valentines day.
I'm starting a UChapter at my college but recently a lot has been happening with my family and I've been extremely overwhelmed and losing steam to keep it going. We've already had an official interest meeting and have 60 people, how can I keep people interested and keep myself going and able to be a good president?
Valentine's Day Doesn't Have to Suck. This is such an amazing movement and anyone that isn't completely familiar with TWLOHA and what they aim to do is in for a major treat tonight
Thanks for the encouraging words. We're really excited to be here with everyone tonight.
I want to start a UChapter at my college. But I am the only one that I know that wants to do this. I had one person but she is graduating this semester. I havent been able to go to a Move conference because none are really near me at a convient time. Any ideas on how I could get this off the ground? (I go to Purdue University so if anyone goes here too, lets talk! Boiler up!)
I'm finding other storytellers through this chat!
Dear TWLOHA what advice do you have for us Storytellers campaign student organizers (wow long title) It gets stressful and i don't want to fail.. I want this to be as great as it can be. i want this to reach others. But a lot of kids are rude and put it down which sucks but doesnt matter in the end. What advice do you have for us in general???????
