Any advice for someone feeling lost? That her life is passing her by but she is not really a part of it.
She's trying to figure out her purpose in life while trying not to dwell on the fact that she's 26 and everyone else around her is getting married and having babies---yet she's never had a boyfriend or even been on a date? She can't help but think that there must be something wrong with her.
She suspects that deep down the reason why she's still alone is that she doesn't love herself--if she doesn't love herself how can anyone else?
She thinks it was a mistake to spend so much time in school getting degrees--(even then she was avoiding the real world, trying to figure out what she wanted to do) and now she's in the real world, with a job that she is very thankful for, yet...
she is still lost and alone. and has no idea what to do to fix it.
I don't know why I that's in the third person. Just the way it came out as I typed. |
I know the feeling. I'm only 19 however everyone I know is in seemingly perfect relationships, whereas I have never had anyone. I found this helpful though:

Also I don't think anyone fully knows what to do in life, it's about going with it and keeping at it, believing it will get better some day :)
