As a form of entertainment, would you rather watch a movie or play a video game? What are your reasons for preferring one medium over the other? Does the current state of either industry have to do with your position?

I'd rather watch a movie. I've never been a big gamer. I'll bust out some N64 games every once in a while, that's it.

TV shows have movies beat lately. That's pretty much all I watch. Never been a hard core gamer.

I'd rather watch a movie. Video games can be really frustrating sometimes.

It really depends on the situation honestly, so I can't answer that well. Mostly though, I like to relax with a game, then maybe pop in a movie if I have that much extra time

Games put you into the action and let you control it. More personal connection in a game, and more often better storyline too due to the ability to make it longer than your average cinema.

Why not? I play games while watching a movie all the time.

I've never once tossed a TV/DVD remote across the room out of frustration at a movie, voted accordingly.
