I went to a show last weekend and Major League covered "Goonies Never Say Die!", definitely one of the coolest moments I remember off the top of my head.

Tyler, the Creator crowd surfed near me/on me. Touched his arm and everything.

He landed on me during Radicals while he crowd surfed and him and I were just screaming the chorus into the microphone with him. It was so surreal.

Winning 2 tickets + meet and greet to Anchor and Braille. Stephen Christian called me by name from stage when I cheered for Wedding/funeral

Underoath playing It's Dangerous Business

Meeting Quinn and Dan from the Used, we were about to meet Bert, but some stupid girl from behind us screamed "Hey Bert, why did you break up with Kelly Osbourne?" so he just said "Nope" and walked away...

Crowd surfing through In Keeping Secrets at Warped Tour

Rivers Cuomo playing Butterfly alone on stage at the end of the Pinkerton Memories show in NYC. Most emotional way to ever end a show.

- Watching MC5 play "Kick Out The Jams" at a festival as a young lad.
- Seeing Dizzee Rascal just before Showtime was released. The whole show was based around Boy In Da Corner.
- Seeing Arctic Monkeys play to about 5,000 people in a tent that only held about 1,000 before they had released more than one single.
- Watching The Cribs play a festival whilst touring The New Fellas.
- Being part of a huge crowd chanting along to "LSF" by Kasabian at the end of their headline set in a festival tent/second stage. The band ended up coming back out just to thank us for chanting the song back at them so loud for about 15 minutes after they'd walked off.
- Watching Arcade Fire when they had just released Funeral, with a crowd that wasn't very big at all. Hearing "No Cars Go" live was one of the best things, especially as I still prefer the first version.
- Seeing Morrissey and Radiohead at V Festival 2006. Both of them in one weekend, dream.
- Goldfrapp and their awesome dancers live at Isle Of Wight Festival 2006.
- Iggy & The Stooges, The Stranglers and Sex Pistols (which was the biggest pogo pit ever. about 60,000 people all pogoing. Good laugh) all in one day at a festival.
- The Australian Pink Floyd Light Show. It's amazing, a live cover band, which makes it sound far less cool than they are. They have sets, designs and lighting from the official and original The Wall tour and if you couldn't see them (even then they look similar) you'd think t was the band, themselves. Stunning live show.
- The Rolling Stones A Bigger Bang Tour.
- Yeah Yeahs Yeahs playing a sweaty packed out tiny London show just as It's Blitz! was released.
- The Maccabees being joined on stage by Edwyn Collins to sing the Orange Juice track, "Rip It Up".
- Paul McCartney playing for almost 3 hours. A set comprised of mostly Beatles tracks with Wings, and more thrown in.
- Laura Marling playing "Night Terror" in a London cathedral.

I haven't been to many shows.

-Catching a The Wonder Years setlist from the Philly Holiday show this december.
- Seeing TSSF at a very small venue where not that many people knew them, so it was perfect.

Thats about it.

Being on stage for the end of the Junior Varsity's farewell show, even if the majority of the performance was a huge mess.

Seeing the Junior Varsity in a VFW with almost no stage the day after Cinematographic came out. I knew all the lyrics already and Asa kept rubbing my head the whole time. That part was a little weird, but the show ruled.

I saw Mark Rose play one of his first solo shows post-Spitalfield, and he played In the Same Lifetime for me.

Seeing my favorite band at the time (a now-defunct local called Harder To Fall) play their entire 80 minute album live.

I guess this counts since it is a concert moment, but the first time I saw people besides my close friends singing along to my old band's song.

My favorite moment will forever be seeing Goldfinger in Toronto when I was 15 years old, and getting invited out on stage to sing "Counting the Days" with John Feldmann, and getting to light Darrin's cymbals on fire later on in the set. Pretty surreal experience for me at the time.

my first show ever was when I was 14 and on vacation with my family. We were in Myrtle Beach and I noticed Goldfinger was playing HOB. Begged Mom to take me. She did. I was unaware of Goldfinger's stage routine where they had somebody come on stage and eat a twinkie out of the dummer's ass. literally.

Mom didn't speak to me the rest of vacation.

1. Taking Back Sunday/Rufio/Brand New at a 150 capacity venue in 2003.
2. Eminem/Jay-Z at Yankee Stadium
3. 4th row for Jay-Z
4. Bon Iver 2011 summer tour. One of (if not the) best show I've ever seen
5. Saves the Day/Get Up Kids tour when I was 13.
6. Going swimming in the ocean with Jim from TGUK after a Blackpool Lights show in Virginia Beach
7. front row PIT for bright eyes
8. Brand New performing Your Favorit Weapon twice (once in NYC for triple crown records 10th anniversary, once for NYE in Atlantic City this year)
9. Seeing The Spill Canvas in 2004 in a room of about 15 people
10. American Nightmare reunion in Boston, December 2011
11. Explosions in the Sky at a tiny little place in Charlottesville. Emotionally moved me.
12. 4th row for Death Cab after Transatlanticism came out
13. Visiting a buddy in Denver. Realizing Brand New was playing the day I was leaving. Re-schedule my flight, saw Brand New. Took an early Saturday flight home. Ended up sitting next to Jesse Lacey on the flight home. He was super nice and chatted with me about half of the way home. Has a thing about taking photos with fans, though. Didn't realize that.

very true story. it's tough to be a 14 year old kid and have your mom witness somebody eat a twinkie out of another person's ass with you.

it's funny now. it wasn't then.
