How can a British award show take itself seriously when it doesn't even nominate Frank Turner for anything?

...blur got an award for their contribution to music? seriously? they're fantastic and all but come on, they haven't released anything in almost a decade.

How did Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds not win anything? not cool. Also was pissing myself when I turned over to itv2 and James Corden looked like he was going to burst into tears because he had to cut Adeles speech off for Blur. Also Blur were awesome but yeah I don't think they should've got an award for their contribution to music, loads of other bands over Blur could've had that.
