New York has always been where offensive stars go to die, the difference is now they have a solid team from top to bottom and dont need to rely on Richards. They can roll 4 lines. Sure it would be great if he put up his career norm but it isnt even needed right now. He makes his money in the playoffs anyway.

Its another reason why I think New York should stay the hell away from Nash and Parise

The Rangers, in their current form, can only go as far as the second round of the playoffs. They have not been the same team following the allstar break, and too many players are slumping at once (Richards, Dubinsky, Boyle, Prust, Rupp, Fedotenko, Staal, Hagelin, Mitchell, etc.).

I don't want Rick Nash but the Rangers need to trade for a top 6 forward before the deadline if they want to make a run.

I stand by my opinion that Dustin Brown could solve more problems to the Rangers' scoring depth issue than Nash could, but I know they won't pass up on Nash if they can get him without having to lose Kreider or Erixon.

Also, this pretty much sums up Wolski:

I could see Wolski playing well in Florida as it seems to be a place where players go this year to find their game

Im amazed that teams are constantly willing to help the Rangers get rid of their bad contracts

getting a 3rd and a former 7th-round minor leaguer that likely will never play NHL hockey certainly isn't "amazing" for a SO specialist that FLA pretty badly needs.

It is. Wolski has no value for the Rangers and they just got a pick and a defensive prospect.

Better than trading three players and two picks for Zidlicky and his 0 goals.

do you even know who the players that the Devils traded are? I'm assuming not if you think the Devils gave up too much

Too bad there's only 20 or so games left in the season. Florida is out in 5 games if they make the playoffs and Wolski will be no help there.

Stupid signing to begin with for the Rangers, but this is a great trade.

The picks alone are too much for Zidlicky, a washed-up, injury-ridden defenseman.
