This sounds awesome. I can't think of a better band to do a 3D concert movie except for maybe The E Street Band. Metallica is still the greatest live band on Earth.

If shooting begins in August how can they aim for a Summer 2012 release?

A 3D Metallica concert actually sounds pretty cool (so long as they play a shitload of '80s material). But then, after thinking about it for a second, it really doesn't.

Easily the worst rock album that came out in 2011.

I never loved Metallica; however, I enjoy a couple songs off every release (Yes, even St. Anger), but Lulu was fucking awful.
