Kanye West Being Sued Over "Uncleared Sample"

Kanye West is being sued over an allegedly uncleared sample used in his remix of Jay-Z's "Girls, Girls, Girls," which appeared on the 2006 mixtape Freshmen Adjustment 2.

Good job reading the article.

This is just a lame attempt to cash in off a song made in 1971. Ye already paid you to clear it for the widely successful Blueprint 1 and now you are trying to get him to pay 500,000 for a mixtape. I don't see this holding much ground as it is a mixtape that no money was made off.

Yeah, I was about to ask whether or not that would hold up at all since it was on a mixtape.
I'm not sure how many of Lil Wayne's or Lil B's mixtapes get cleared but I'm going to guess none.
