Gruff vocals? That's about the only HWM in there. Bass lines aren't even close. Drums sound hollow. Guitar riffs are definitely different stylistically.

Not hearing it.

Haha, I mean it's kind of unfair to compare it to the HWM rhythm section considering that has to be one of the best rhythm sections in punk rock. I meant it in kind of a more holistic way but ok.

This will probably go the same direction the last Odd Future argument with Jason went where he'll start to obviously lose the argument, get butthurt, delete the thread to eliminate any evidence that he may have been wrong and ramp up the site's OF "security measures" again. Unfortunately the people trying to support OF in here don't seem to be doing as good of a job as last time.

When the guitar on the first song kicked in I was honestly expecting it to go into full-on hardcore fury.

You nailed it with the intoit/overit with harder instrumentation. But, as I've said before, I don't like that either. The melodies just aren't there for me - eh, different strokes.
