Celebrate positivity. If leaving the band was positive, then great, but celebrate when this new band was formed as opposed to when everyone gave up on an old band. I just really loved YMAEWK and even if it went south, focus on the new because of the new, not because of being so against the old.

I'm not against the old. I'm truly forever grateful for my experiences with the band. I just wanted to give some new music away on a day that kinda sucked last year (which to me seemed positive...though I suppose it could be perceived differently). It's a bummer things went down the way they did, but what's done is done.
