Don't go to law school for that reason. The legal market is terrible right now. If you don't really want to practice law there is no reason at all to get a law degree.

It's up again. I had that same temporary freak out because I have my evidence exam tomorrow, closed book, multiple choice. I understand like 3/4 of the class but maybe have like 1/4 memorized. It's going to be a DISASTER. My talents in law school lie in essay exams.

yeah my property exam is multiple choice too. I was very confused when he told us that since the one first semester was all essay and objective questions. I'm not even sure what to expect.

I went to the library yesterday in legit pjs (flannel pants, t-shirt) ran into some of my friends, and they gave me strange looks (because I always wear pants, and this wasn't even yoga pants). And then the parking garage is at the botanical gardens, and there was a meeting of women in suits, all starting at me. It was just embarrassing. And yet... better than putting on pants.

haha, i've been keeping my fingers crossed for that.

i've called my dean's list friend and emailed my professor so many times that i'm pretty sure they'd expect me to get an A at this point. as long as I hit the B-, i'll be OK with it. i'm far more confident about the rest of my classes anyway

but, i got some good news today, found out i made it onto my school's secondary law review. probably still going to try to write-on to the main one, though.

It was almost a purely write-on thing. They considered first semester grades, moot court brief, letter of intent, and an interview with most of the weight on the LOI and the brief. The main journal's competition is after the last final.

Haha, no, iit has a topic and is called St. Mary's Law Review for Minority Issues, but it is secondary to the main one which is just called St. Mary's Journal.
