easily the best of these simple quiet songs he's been writing a lot lately.

really enjoyed the song, album info has been so scarce. but stefan tweeted today that a likely late summer/early fall release was likely. Lillywhite also said that the song is not "quiet" on the album and that it is longer and a full band song. So i am interested to see what it will sound like on the album. captain Kirks backup vox were great too.

Fuckin' LOL! I agree, but mostly because it's a generational thing and Dave's sound just appeals to me more. This song was straight-up beautiful.

Lillywhite said he's putting final touches on the album. "Big Whiskey" is gonna be a hard act to follow...let's hope they don't scrap what they have this time!

Cool song, at first i was worried the lyrics were politically infused, but now i think its more about the state of the band. Stephan said that was the first time he heard the lyrics, which is interesting to me. If that is true for the rest of the band as well, this performance could basically have been dave singing to the other members of the band.

Hopefully this will be more like the last sessions they did with lilywhite if you know what I mean....
This is gonna be a great album. Production level off the charts. I wonder how the songs are gonna sound like without LeRoi, he was a big influence on arrangements. R.I.P. LeRoi and Long Live DMB!
