It's just I don't understand the hate Owl City and other pop bands that put out good music get.

the only "bands" that i listen to that are "pop" are You Me At Six & There For Tomorrow. i guess Neon Trees and Two Door Cinema Club would count too right? i listen to them as well.

all the other pop stuff i listen to are really female musicians...Marina & the Diamonds, LIGHTS, Bjork, Kate Bush, Meg & Dia / Dia Frampton, Lana Del Rey, Florence + the Machine, stuff like that.

YMA6 and TFT are great...but I wouldnt class them as pop. Neon Trees, LIGHTS, and Meg & Dia/Dia Frampton are all great as well.

Idk, I think there's some real good pop stuff that gets sidelined too quickly.
