hearing them first few seconds of only shallow is always an awesome feeling

One of my favorite albums ever.

This album has never had a huge affect on me but it's still great and I can understand why people gush. His P4k interview explains why they were remastered very well. Basically though, it's so the album is louder, because the original CD is quiet and doesn't sound as good when turned up.
