That stuff's alright, i mean i like it but it's more on the poppy end. When i think of pop punk i think of bands like descendents, lawrence arms, nofx, no use for a name, strung out, etc. In terms of newer bands i'd say Banner Pilot, The Swellers, Shook Ones, Dear Landlod have had some good recent releases.

The music on the radio and on TV has almost always sucked. Music is far from dead. (I really hope your post was sarcasm/trolling etc.)

I agree that a lot of "pop punk" bands now dont even have a hint of punk rock in them. but my band are mainly influenced by oldschool blink, nofx, reel big fish. http://www.facebook.com/OneGirlArmyB...p_178091127385. sorry we dont have a myspace but if you're into facebook now you should check us out :) i also know a few other pop punk bands from Australia that still have the good old 90's sound so if you're interested let me know!

Personally, I don't think its dead it's just not as popular at the moment...there's still some good new pop-punk bands out there.

I seriously apologise for doing this but I am tired, ill and just want to start a topic but I can't because I have to post 11 more things (10 after this) but each time I post I will name a band that I think shows pop punk isn't dead.
