I don't know who she is. Soupy asked who Rachel was and every guy in the place said they were. Soupy was just like "Well happy fucking birthday!"

I drove 4 hours for that show, so there was no way I was going to leave without getting something, and I hit the jackpot. I was front and center the entire time, chances are if you were too, I was probably the guy trying to shove in front of you. =p

I was kinda just floating around. Wasn't able to stay in one spot for that long.

How was the whole Skrillex thing? I saw on the news post that people were saying that you could hear the transformer shit sounds during TWY set. I watched a few live videos and you can even hear it in the videos. Was it distracting for the band or crowd?

I could only really hear it between songs, I was pretty close to a speaker so it wasn't bad. I think the only really distracting thing was the fireworks because everyone turned to look at them but I mean it was kinda cool. And as for distractions for the band, I'm pretty sure every single member of TWY was dancing to Skrillex at some point before/during their set haha

My daughters ages 13, 13 and 9 have been around a few venues and shows but last night was their first TWY Show.

Their faces were priceless when TWY hit the stage and all hell broke loose. Shit was too perfect for a family night out. It seems my 13th time seeing them was the best of all. 2 1/2 hour ride home and everyone made it on the school bus this morning .... on time and reppin their new TWY Merch.

Happy Early Fathers Day To Me !! #success

Alright, so I'm really trying to get into this band. I don't really hate any of the songs I've heard, but none have really stood out. Any song suggestions would be appreciated. I've heard all of Suburbia, but haven't delved too deep into their other releases, if that helps at all. Or maybe even some related bands would help

I wouldn't start with Suburbia. I'd basically start with any other release. I personally started with Get Stoked!, but starting at Won't Be Pathetic Forever or even The Upsides might be better. I feel like I wouldn't have enjoyed Suburbia near as much if I wasn't familiar with Upsides.

If your looking for straight up songs, the big songs from the Upsides are "My Last Semester" "Logans Circle" "Melrose Diner" "Washington Square Park", but I'd suggest listening through the album instead.

Start with won't be pathetic forever, then the Upsides. Wouldn't even bother with Get Stoked On It unless you like joke songs. The band hates that record.

Start with Won't Be Pathetic Forever, then The Upsides, then Suburbia, so you can hear them progress. GSOI is a fun record to spin every now and again but I wouldn't suggest it as a starting point. Distances split and the b-sides are all good but you should hear the progression of the actual records first. Personally, as fantastic as Suburbia is, I still prefer listening to WBPF and The Upsides more often than not.

For song suggestions: Won't Be Pathetic Forever and You're Not Salinger. Get Over It. from Won't Be Pathetic Forever; Washington Square Park, Melrose Diner, Logan Circle, This Party Sucks from The Upsides; Came Out Swinging, Don't Let Me Cave In, Hoodie Weather, Summers in PA from Suburbia. Not necessarily my favorite tracks from each release but good starting points to get into TWY. Melrose and This Party Sucks were the two songs that hooked me on this band.

Distances split was the best thing they were part of. All or Nothing's side actually competes with better songs too.
