Message From The Band

Who You Are Is Not Enough is a concept record based upon the model of one song. The album is divided into five movements, all of which represent a different piece. It began over four years ago as a single piece, in dedication to a friend that had passed away. After years of coping and more years of never feeling satisfied with the quality of the tribute, the song had been changed and expanded and scrapped and then started all over again. Eventually the progression was reused in a studio session for the track Affliction, and the idea was born to finally follow through in a different frame of mind, for an idea that had been weighing on us for so long. What was born was a song representing every shortcoming and every disappointment we have experienced in our lives since November 12th, 2003, and the realization that none of our shortcomings compare to the loss of one's life.

The album was written over the span of five years in four states. Engineered and produced by Kevin Dye (gates), and co-produced, mixed and mastered by Greg Dunn (moving mountains). This track, "III," is the exact middle of the album. The entirety of the album will be released June 26, 2012. We hope you enjoy it.
