definitly, its so brutal I can barley handle some parts but its still epic. Probobly helps he was goin thru such dark period at the time..i love la mer and the follow up to it on Still.I remember I got the album when it came out just as my depression was surfacing and still no one can top trent's ability to make the listener feel not alone in thier darkness.

Been listening to tracks off The Fragile and Still a lot recently. Both albums are phenomenal and Still is a completely great album to feel absolutely miserable to. Especially "And All Tat Could Have Been."

I have all of the GWTDT soundtrack. It's fantastic, haha. Very solid albums to write essays and such to.

It'd be cool to listen to the albums in chronological order from when they were released, but if you wanna start with the best you should probably start with The Downward Spiral, then The Fragile. And if you like what you hear (Which I'm guessing you will if you have ears) then listen to Pretty Hate Machine, Broken, The Slip.. then With Teeth and Year Zero.. then Ghosts/The Social Network/The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo soundtracks. And then if you're like" OMG where has this band been all my life!?" get the remix albums (Especially for Year Zero and Further Down The Spiral) and How To Destroy Angels. NIN is quite a freaking amazing band, truly one of my favorites.

I've been listening to a lot of And All That Could Have Been lately... I have a newfound appreciation of Robin Finck as a result. There are some amazing guitar sounds on there.

Yeah he seems like a strange dude but idk if a guitarist was more in sync with Trent than him.

Aaron North? He did like 3 years with them then retired from music or something! Robert Patrick never really crosses my mind.
