Just figured I'd give this a shot and see what turns up.
Is anyone out there down to start an Alterna-Country type of pop rock band?
Something along the lines of Parachute, Andy Grammer, Green River Ordinance, Train, etc. More of a mature alternative sound.
I'm a 24 year old experienced songwriter/ musician. I play guitar, bass, keys, and can write some decent drum parts. I've spent a lot of time in the studio and on the road.
My only problem is my vocals aren't really strong enough to hold their own yet. I'm more of a backup singer.
Location isn't that huge of an issue if we can build something worthwhile.
I'm down to collab online and eventually travel if necessary.
There isn't exactly a large pool of talent where I'm from.
I'm in the process of signing a contract for songwriting/ producing for other artists in the pop music realm on the side but am still free to write and perform my own music. It's still my dream to perform in a band and get back out on the road.

I understand this might be a project where we have to start from scratch, but please don't bother if you don't have a decent amount of talent and experience. I'm not looking to just jam and start a garage band. Serious musicians only.
