I think he's always sounded about the same live. What gets me is the overall performance which I've always thought was entertaining as hell. I'd rather be amused and have fun watching a band even if they mess up, than watch some perfectly polished one who is too busy being flawless that they're boring.

I enjoyed New Found Glory a lot when I saw them too!

Still hoping for some b&c or something to that tune as well? I'm stoked for Bayside but I'm well aware that not everyone feels the same...

well said. I am not ashamed to say I am a NFG fanboy haha. There are some bands I have seen that are incredibly polished that may put some to sleep. While true, I thoroughly enjoyed it. An example of this was when I saw Between The Buried and Me. They put on a spot-on performance. I guess it just depends on what you expect prior to the show.

Very true! I always go to a show with my only expectation being to have fun. Nine times out of ten this expectation is wholly met.
