This might be a good thing. Hopefully, they'll use the hiatus to recharge their creative batteries, and their next release will be another Morning View or A Crow Left of the Murder..., instead of a boring adult alternative album that sounds like a collection of semi-decent B-sides.

This a solid Incubus track that never made it to INNW (unfortunately).

They will never live up to SCIENCE and Make Yourself. It's their Enema and TOYPAJ in my opinion.

Really weird I was just listening to them today. They've been going at it for so long. Good for them, from the article (from those that didn't read it) it sounds like Brandon will come out with another solo record and then sometime after that they might sit down and make another Incubus record. Always hope they give just 1 more Morning View/Make Yourself type record again.

The latest release "IF not now, when?" is amazing, so chill but amazing musicianship and Boyds lyrics and performance are top notch. Not for fans of their older heavy stuff but for more mature ears.

I've loved Incubus since the 90's, and while I dug their last record, I really think they only way for them to get their mojo back is to patch things up with Alex. He and Mike co-wrote their best material.

Bummer. Thought their last two albums were great.

should probably clarify in the headline/news post, that they'll be on hiatus AFTER their current tour.
