My main problem with LITSOS the sequencing which is the biggest boner kill for me if its off. The 3 most brutal in your face songs are in the front in a row and then the middle is a little more droney and it picks up a bit before finishing with the two softest songs. I'm not saying I don't like their slower paced material, I just think that record would've stuck with me if sequenced differently. |
I've actually thought similar things but never really wrote it out. I think the songs are their best but other than the first song and the last song being correctly placed, the middle wasn't really sequenced as well as it could have been.
There's quite a few albums I've thought about re-sequencing but haven't really done it.
Also, I think the album would've done better commercially if "A Fault Line, A Fault Of Mine" was a single. That's one of the catchiest songs they've ever written, and one of my favorites.
