Met this Turkish dude at the bar tonight after all but one of my friends had left. He seemed straight until after the bar closed then somehow we ended up in the parking lot with my hands around his waist while I had to explain to him that I was into guys. Attempted to kiss him, but he pulled back and then asked for my phone number....Not cool.

He could just like you and rather go on a date instead of a one-time thing or kissing that quickly, ya know. It's sometimes nice to not rush that.

I don't think that was it, haha. Dude was probably straight and just liked the attention. Though, he did invite me (and my friend) back to his apartment....

I was pretty buzzed during this as well haha. I mean, straight but curious does exist. Did you accept that invite? And your friend, boy or girl?

We did accept the invite, but only because my friend (a girl) wanted to continue talking with the Turkish guy's friend and it was on the way back (walking) to my house.

He's like 30. He's not bad looking, but not good looking either. The type of person he is though, I feel like he wouldn't like grindr at all. So that's even weirder.

I only use Grindr to kill the time. I make fun of people or talk to interesting ones but have never met someone off it.

Same here... but somehow, it has led to hooking up with the past three guys I've met on there.

I mean...it happens, but I don't really see a problem with that. Though, it kind of sucks when I just want to be friends with a guy, but then I get bored and...kind of ruin the whole "friend" thing.

True. I dunno, the guys I've met through Grindr are often good looking but that's about it, so it hasn't been very good for finding friends, just guys that want casual stuff.
