Wow, seems like a swell guy....

Austin's a nice guy. When he meets his fans, he has the most genuine smiles, laughs and conversations with them.
Whatever has happened between him, Shay and the rest of the band is obviously a touchy subject for him. No one knows the full story. Judging him off of this is pointless.

Really enjoy their music, can't stand reading a single interview of theirs.

Every single time that I have met Austin, he was really nice. I have no clue what happened here. Maybe his sarcasm doesn't translate well into writing or he was having a bad day.

Im not really digging the low blow to Shayley at all. i wonder if he was being sarcastic or if there was some behind the scenes falling out.

I posted that quote on Tumblr and that shit blew up! Fangirls are freaking out. The number one thing I've been seeing is "The quote is probably fake!" Pretty funny actually.

I wish people would fucking accept that you should listen to a band for their music instead of getting involved in their personal life Jesus fucking Christ, Shay and Austin just had a little misunderstanding and the interviewer/press would have twisted it like they do with everything else; but I really doubt they’d want all their fans talking all this shit, it’s their lives and it doesn’t affect our person lives at all. They were both rather out of order for what was said but it really doesn’t concern their fans tbh. Also with it being a spoken/written interview we don't have a clue the tone of how Austin say it. In my opinion though it was uncalled for when Shayley posted the status's on Facebook about it, because he should have known it would have stirred a load of stuff up, whereas Austin was in an interview so it wasn't intentioned to turn out like this. Last thing they want is their fans splitting up into Austin vs. Shay groups, we should all just grow up and leave it between them two, because whatever we say isn't going to change a thing, I appreciate people putting their opinions across but there's no need to split up into 2 seperate groups and call the opposite group every name under the sun.

This is the only interview I have read of him where he really seems to be an asshole. However, I watched another interview video of him from 'theSHAMELESSYOUTH" and he seemed like the coolest guy. I love his hair though haha
