This band is incredible, but the vocals require so much precision that all the live recordings I've seen are really hit or miss...

Excited to see them in Philly in a couple weeks regardless though.

As far as I understand, the band name is "∆" but they pronounce it "alt-J" instead of "Delta" because who knows

the command on a mac for the delta sigh is alt-j. so yeah.

Never found "alt-J" hard to pronounce personally, they always write it next to the symbol. But fair one, not defending it as a band name, because it's not great.
