Audio Karate is one of the best bands ever. This may be the first Kickstarter I contribute to!

That was pretty funny, and I did enjoy when they said, "hi, this is Audio Karate."

Depending on how much $$$ I can scrape together, I'll either get the acoustic EP, the old AK shirt, or the Song Shop. A personalized song from Art? I'd be very down for that.

This is pretty rad, you definately get stuff for your dough. Had I lived in Cali, I'd payed for them to come and play FOR SURE! Now I might just settle with a T-shirt and some rad old acoustic tunes. Damn I love these guys!

Is this kickstarter for real? The value here is ridiculous if anyone lives in the area take advantage of this. My friends' bands get more money per show and are way smaller. Can't these guys get shows around the area for more? Good luck with the van i hope the raise a lot more than 5 grand.

I think the point is to entice people to donate money and not charge a lot to play. Either way it is a good deal. I'll probably throw money in for the song shop. These guys rule and the video is freakin hilarious!!

I totally forgot I owned an AK shirt at one point. I need to dig that out if I still have it.

please please please please find a link. Also, what a fucking idiot. A bus is well over $50k and costs around $1k a day to rent.

Things like this are why kickstarter is a bad idea. I think it's one thing to raise money to release a self-released record (with awesome things to give away), so you don't have to deal with BS labels.
But seriously - buying a van is a basic fundamental of being in a band.
Get a job and save money.
I don't care what band you were previously in.

Next step is starting a kickstarter to start a band.
Help me buy instruments, and hire musicians, and songwriters.

They weren't "previously in" AK. Indian School is just a new name, as far as I know.
