What specifically do you like about GFM, aside from the fact that it's cool that the band tried a different style?

I personally like the inclusion of more alt rock elements. The album is probably the most melodic they have done yet. I think the album also flows very well. I think it was good to mix things up a bit after two awesome but similar albums. As a fan of the foo fighters and not of fan of bands that try and sound like the foo fighters I honestly think the swellers incorporated those kinds of elements in rather well. The album seems like they put a lot of heart into it. Best I Ever Had is a beast of a song as well. I think when a band slows it down a bit you can appreciate the vocal strength of the singer and the effort that must of went in to make these songs come out the way they did.

This is not to say I can honestly say GFM is my favorite. Its hard to rank some bands because each release is so solid. My Everest is probably their strongest release but Good For Me probably resonates with me more.

Awesome song, great dudes, great band. Every release of theirs is good and adds to what they're doing. Personally I think GFM and Vehicle City Blues had the best/catchiest melodies of their career, and that's sticking around for the new EP.

Pretty much. Not necessarily a bad thing - just seems pretty standard for them.

GFM was my favorite album in the year that it was released. Love at first listen, there's not a single bad song on it.
