Anthony Raneri has revealed that Bayside are no longer on Wind-Up Records, and are currently label-less. However, they will be announcing a self-release in the next couple of weeks that will be for sale on the "Tell All Your Friends Tour."
That self release will be purchased by me at that very tour. Bayside are good enough and have enough following that I don't see them going anywhere anytime soon unless Anthony just wants to pursue solo work. Regardless stoked for this self released cause I am not sure how limited it will be and I am a huge bayside fan.
This is great! Hope it's something interesting like a new EP or an EP of covers. Anthony has a very distinct voice, so hearing him do covers is always cool.
Yeah that really surprised me too. There's a lot of labels that would suit them better than both Wind-Up and Victory, like Side One or Epitaph. But honestly given their strong cult following they could easily self release everything from now on.
