very good line up! i think this would be a fun show to go too! i wish they would come back to utah... i wasn't a fan of smashing pumpkins till i saw them live. the new spirt/rendition/lineup of the band is awesome!

I really, really want to go as Anberlin are one of my favorite bands, but I just don't know if I can swing paying $50 to see them. :\

UK dates are being rescheduled for January-ish, it'll be worth the wait but BUMMER.

I'd love to go to the STL show but it would suck tits to sit through Anberlin. Possibly worse than listening to Torche make random noise for half an hour.

They've cancelled their UK tour for this. (Well, they're working on rescheduling it in January but still sad. Although totally understand why.)

I'm all for Anberlin getting more exposure and I guess overall this is a good move for them, but as a long-time fan, I'm starting to feel a little jilted. Boohoo, woe is me, I know.

The last time Anberlin played Denver as a headliner was Oct 2008, and they cut the set short because Stephen was having vocal issues. They haven't played a proper show here since. They've been back a few times, but always in some shitty situation: playing a radio station gig with a bunch of other bands, opening for 30 Seconds To Mars (?), playing a fucking water park (??).

Now they're opening for SP, tix are $60 each, and they'll have another excuse to skip over Denver when they finally do a headlining tour after the new record comes out. Hard to be supportive when it's been 4+ years since they've played a proper gig and you see them playing other cities 4+ times in those 4 years.
