i get that you love the band, but 10 years ago would rule out good mourning, crimson, and heavens which i think have all been well received

Heavens was incredible.

I love everything this band has done, so I'm really looking forward to a new album.

Wow am I glad you have no actual pull over when the band quits. Crimson was probably Alkaline Trio's most complete and diverse album and Heavens, while not even Alkaline Trio, was amazing.

Sweet, I love every ALK3 album (even This Addiction but it took a minute) and I'm sure this will be no exception. I wish it would be a return to the sound of Crimson but considering the producer, I'm sure it's going to be more like Agony and Addiction than anything else.

Hoping for some great drumming from Derek, on This Addiction, I thought it was too straightforward, not up to the level of drumming he did on the previous 3 albums. also curious to see how Matt's apparent issues this summer figure into his writing. looking forward to this record as I always do where Trio's concerned hah.
