Mogwai Releasing Remix Album of "A Wrenched...

Mogwai will be releasing a remix album titled A Wrenched Virile Lore. It'll be released on November 19th through Rock Action Records label and will be available on CD, standard 2xLP, and digitally.

Should be worth a listen or two. Remix albums are never essential, but there's usually a good couple of tracks in there. The Tim Hecker remix will be worth a listen anyway.

Edit: Jason, a little correction, the remix album is called A Wrenched Virile Lore, it's full of remixes from their last album, Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will.

What wou;d you guys say is the best record to give a listen for someone wanting to get into mogwai?? I love me some shoegaze, post-rock, instrumental music but Mogwai has such a big catalogue that I have no idea where to start ... suggestions??

Come on Die Young. There's nothing wrong with that album.

I didn't really like Hardcore will never die but I'd really like to hear the Tim Hecker remix and the Zombi remix.

I've really let "The Hawk is Howling" sink in when I got it on vinyl. such a good record!
