Small Band Round-UpThe debut EP from Richmond, VA's High Regard was released. It's up for free download.

Get Better Records launched a Kickstarter trying to raise funds to open a not-for-profit/all-ages/collectively run/safe/DIY music, performance, arts, gathering and creation space for Greenville, SC. The vision is to have a building where all people from this area would be allowed to create and showcase art while building lasting supportive relationships; whether it be circus performance, a practice space for a new band, a recording studio, a show space, screen printing space, a safe hang out for exchanging ideas or a meeting place for non-profit organizations . We want this to be a rad space where everyone is welcomed and everyone is accepted, but the safety of all is a priority.

Homeless fundraiser BLANKFEST spreads to Vancouver with the west coast music scene raising proceeds and awareness for the Covenant House. More info can be found here.

Hideouts has wrapped up recording the group's debut EP. The group has launched a Kickstarter to help press the record. The EP was produced by Jon Berry (Rufio, Runner Runner) and co-engineered by Cameron Webb (Pennywise, Motörhead, Over It). Modern Suits is coming out with a new EP on Oct 23rd recorded by Mike Watts (The Dear Hunter, As Cities Burn) & Steve Hailger (Brand New, Fuel). Video teaser can be viewed here.

An electronic indie rock from Kansas City, KS called The Way Back released their debut self-titled EP called: The Way Back EP. It is available on iTunes and Amazon, and the first single off the album called "Messages Get Lost" can be streamed on their website. (RIYL: fun., Broken Bells, AWOLNation, Death Cab for Cutie)

Look Alive, a brand new pop-punk band from Atlanta, GA. A few of the members used to be in the bands: Style Over Substance, The Sophomore Year, and Nuclear Saturday. You can grab the group's EP on iTunes and Bandcamp and stream it on Spotify.

Cold War Legacy Records has announced its two newest releases. First, is the brand new EP by First Step to Failure,Our True Enemy Has Yet to Reveal Himself which will be released digitally on October 29th 2012.. You can download two free tunes from the EP by going to the group's Bandcamp page. The EP is also being released physically and is limited to 100 copies, completely hand numbered and with handwritten linear notes. You can get that on our Bandcamp and Bigcartel.

The second release will be the new EP by The Recovery! On February 11th 2013. It’s called Wherever Nowhere Takes Us and more information will follow about it soon, including details of the video/single.

New York Hardcore outfit Olde York will release their new cd “Shallow World” on September 21st, on Dutch hardcore label WTF (responsible for releases from Human Demise, Spider Crew, All For Nothing & more).
