These post-hardcore/screamo bands are a dime a dozen now. People complain about pop-punk and dubstep and stuff being generic but bands like this are popping up 10 a day. Starting to get ridiculous. And very overexposed.

If you havn't realised yet, thats basically how the music scene/business works. One band gets success and than a bunch of similar bands start popping up or bands that have been around longer with a similar sound start to finally get noticed.

And as for the bands you mentioned, while I agree they all utilize the scream spoken word/ lack of chorus formula, I think they all bring something different to the table

Yeah, I know.

In my opinion, Touche Amore and Defeater. I've tried getting into Pianos and Saddest Landscape but they haven't really done it for me.
