I think we're straying from the initial point. Louis is not going to mention anything about O and A on Saturday Night Live because Louis isn't that type of comedian.

But Louie IS that type of comic. This is the guy who doesn't care about his reputation. Like the post above me, he called Rumsfeld a lizard. I'm not sure how many people are still there from his days at SNL but you have to expect the unexpected with CK. Will he say something? Doubtful. Will he use and O and A line in one of the skits..don't be surprised.

I never said he cared about his reputation, he just doesn't seem like the type to do some schtick like that on television.

We'll see, I guess. Or you will since I probably won't watch it

There's a difference between ripping on a political figure and calling out a show on said show. You get that, right? One is comedy, one is being unprofessional disguised as comedy.

He won't flat out say it on air. He might take a popular O&A saying and say it in a context that doesn't make sense. No one knows O&A lines except for the fans. Regular people that watch SNL won't understand it.

Yeah, I doubt they will play We Are Young on SNL. It's been out forever and they have more recent singles they are trying to promote. My guess is that they will play Some Nights and Carry On. They want to keep their audience's interest and be able to hook them on new stuff.

I'm aware of Louis and Norton association with Opie and Anthony. The thing is nobody cares about SNL doing a throwaway sketch that vaguely resembles a sketch on a radio show. Louis wouldn't even call out Dane Cook on taking his jokes. He's not going to risk looking like an ass for a couple of XM DJs.

Degraded? Yes, I suppose the show that still books top acts and comedians is not an achievement for Louis, who grew up watching the show.

I'm speaking of quality, not popularity bro. Although it's election season and I haven't even heard of any political sketches they've done so maybe popularity too.
